Hand on Heart specialise in hand and footprint jewellery and gifts. They are made using your loved ones prints. Once you decide what you'd like to to order a special kit is then sent to your door which you can then return by post or even scan in and send online.
They have a huge range to choose from such as earrings, charms, bracelets, cufflinks etc. The list is endless. I'm a big fan of Pandora jewellery and I have a few necklaces and bracelets with varying charms. When I saw that Hand on Heart made a charm that was compatible with Pandora, I knew that was what I had to order. You can view it here, Pandora Charm.
Once i'd placed the order the kit arrived within days. I left the collection of getting the handprints up to my husband as I was quite busy working long hours away from the house. Stupidly he didn't take any pics (i'm never going to make a blogger out of him). The kit came with paper and a wipe. Hubby was amazed at how it would even work. He wiped the girls hands and then simply placed them on the paper. There was no ink and therefore no mess. This was unlike other times when we've attempted to create handprint art. Imagine paint on every wall/floor in the house and not on the paper. Hubby and the girls were really impressed. Eva actually said it was like magic and really enjoyed making my special gift.
He then posted the picture in the envelope that was provided. As I previously mentioned you can do this online by scanning the handprints in. The actual charm arrived very quickly after sending off the art. Unfortunately it arrived whilst we were on holiday so I didn't get to see it for a few weeks.
When I opened it up I was blown away. The packaging is lovely and it includes a card to let you know who made the gift for you. You also receive the original artwork that you sent off which is a keepsake in itself. The quality is fantastic and the prints are very clear. I loved the fact that I could have both the girls' handprints and initials on the same charm. This is not something I have seen before. As it says, the charm fits perfectly on all of my Pandora Jewellery. I've been swapping between my necklaces and bracelets.
The charm costs £69 which I think is great value for money. Most of my Pandora charms cost much more than that. This is a unique charm that nobody else will ever have so I think the price reflects the uniqueness.
Overall, I am so pleased with my experience of Hand on Heart Jewellery. The range is great, ordering was easy, creating the artwork was stress and mess free, delivery was fast and the quality is fantastic. I adore having a piece of my girls with me which I can carry close to my heart whenever I am away from them.
With Father's day coming up i've been thinking of getting Arwyn something from myself and the girls. I love the idea of getting some of the girls artwork made into a keepsake.
This keyring has caught my eye and I know he'd love it. You can get it here for £35, Keyring.
*Thank you to hand on heart jewellery for sending me my charm in exchange for my honest opinion*

DeleteThat's lovely, and it's great that the charm has handprints on both sides. I love the keyring too, a great idea for Fathers Day and a lovely keepsake.
ReplyDeletethis is lovely. I have one of my eldest's feet and hands - I think I need to get another with my middle and youngests on too
ReplyDeleteThis is just beautiful. My cousin once had a necklace made for me with my eldest's thumbprint on it, but I thought it had been stolen when we got burgled. Fast forward 6 years and I only went and found it behind the drawers in my jewellery box! I couldn't believe it, but I'm so pleased :)
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I went off on a bit of a tangent there, didn't I?! What I was going to say was I'll have to treat myself to one of these with my youngest's handprint on so I have a special piece of jewellery for each of them.
