Baby Shark...it's the song us parent's love to hate. My youngest was the one who came across this phenomenon on youtube and she has been singing the song and doing the actions ever since. She always looks so cute as she enthusiastically sings and dances along. Who would have thought it would have become such a huge sensation? So much so that there are now toys based around the song.
Ophelia was super excited when a box from the postman arrived containing the Baby Shark Let's Go Hunt game and the wooden sound puzzle. She was already overly happy and grateful with both games but that soon turned to being absolutely ecstatic when hubby popped the batteries in each game and she realised the song featured in both.

The puzzle is suitable for children ages 2 and up and it requires 2xAAA batteries. It's bright and colourful which makes it very eye catching. The puzzle is simple to to complete and easy to handle with the pieces being quite large in size.

Let's Go Hunt Game
This game can be played by all the family even though its recommended age is four years and up. The idea of the game is to go fishing for baby sharks and collect as many as you can to correspond with the colour of your fishing rod. We also just play it without using colours and just try and collect as many as possible.
As the game spins around the 'baby shark' song plays continuously which both my girls loved.
Even though Ophelia loved the wooden puzzle, I think this was her favourite of the two things we received.
The game requires 2xAA batteries which aren't included in the box.

Peppa Pig has been Ophelia's favourite TV programme for years. She has quite a few Peppa Pig themed toys so she was delighted to receive Peppa Pig's Big Red Car to review. The idea for imaginative play is that Mummy and Peppa Pig are going on a picnic.
The new big red car comes packed full of entertainment. In the box you get:
- The Car which plays a tune
- Mummy Pig and Peppa Pig in cute picnic outfits
- Removable hat for Mummy Pig
- A picnic hamper that opens
- A table/blanket
- A small BBQ
- A bottle of drink
- Plates with food on them
- Batteries 2xAAA included (hooray)
Ophelia was over the moon when she opened the box. The push a long 4 seater car is a good size and is sturdy. It's quite lightweight to handle and carry. It fits 4 characters in total (small sized ones in the back). The car comes with Peppa Pig and Mummy Pig but if you already have any others from the collection then they will also fit.
Her favourite feature is the fact that the car plays one of the familiar tunes from Peppa Pig when you press the steering wheel.
She also loves the fact that you can open and close the boot which is where you can store all of your picnic essentials.
She hasn't stopped playing with the car since it arrived. She often takes it out with her if we are going places and for once we actually don't mind as it's light to carry and all of the accessories can be stored in the boot so there's no chance of losing them.

Who else has a huge Build-A-Bear fan in their house? Eva is obsessed with it and she had at least 8 things from there on her Christmas list. She's been carrying around a bunny that we created for her when she was a baby. It's her favourite teddy and she won't go anywhere without it. We can't walk past the shop without her squealing with delight. For the last couple of months all i've heard is 'Mummy can I have this? Mummy I need this, Mummy I can make my own Build-A-Bear,' every time she saw the advert for Spinmaster's Build-A-Bear stuffing station on the TV. You can imagine her delight when we were kindly sent the Rainbow edition to review.
The Build-A-Bear Stuffing station is a kit that brings the magical experience of making your own teddy bear into your home. It is literally a miniature version of the huge stuffing station you see in the shop. Eva declared how cute it was as soon as we removed it from the packaging.
The kit comes with everything you need to make 2 small teddy bears. It includes a stuffing station, 2 Build-A-Bear cuddly friends in different designs, stuffing, t-shirts, plastic hearts, birth certificates and cardboard accessories.
The first thing I noticed was how easy it was to take out of the packaging and put together. There's nothing worse than wrestling with a toy box when you have a very excited child, eagerly awaiting their new toy. I was also jumping for joy at the fact that it doesn't require batteries. This is literally music to a parent's ears.
To make a bear you place the 'skin' of the bear on side of the stuffing station. Eva found this quite difficult and i'll admit I did too, until I realised that you have to almost 'screw it on' by twisting it around the nozzle. Next you pop a whole bag of stuffing into the station. You then have to turn the lever clockwise to start stuffing your bear. Eva loved this part and she was able to do this process by herself. The bear will pop off occasionally but this is a sign for you to use your fingers to push the stuffing into smaller areas of the bear such as the hands and legs. You then place the bear back on the stuffing station and continue to make it as cuddly as you wish.
When you have used all of the wool, it's time to choose a picture or message to place inside your heart. Then make a wish and pop it into the back of your bear and zip it up to close. Eva loved picking a t-shirt and popping it on the bear. Even though there are only 2 t-shirts included in the kit, she must've got her bear changed at least 10 times in the space of about 10 minutes. Once your bear is stylishly dressed you can then write its birth certificate.
Overall, Eva loved the stuffing station. She has told anyone and everyone about it and she always sneaks her 2 miniature bears into her school bag. She has asked for more skins to create more bears for her upcoming birthday.

Ophelia has been confidently walking and running (running mostly) for a while now, so we thought it was time to get her some sort of bike. After much research and asking friends, we were recommended a Toddlebike. This was not something hubby and I had heard of before. With Eva, she went straight to a normal bike and she still struggles riding it, even now. She's not very confident on it at all.
As luck would have it, we were asked if Ophelia would like to try out the Toddlebike2 so we jumped at the chance. We chose to receive a pink one but it also comes in blue and red.
When it arrived, I thought we'd been sent an empty box. Normally when we get a parcel, I end up asking the poor postman to bring it into the house but this time when he handed it over, I was rather perplexed.
You hear the word bike and automatically assume it'll be heavy but this one is honestly as light as a feather. Even Ophelia can pick it up. It actually weighs less than 1kg.
It also arrives fully assembled!! Anyone that has had to put together a bike or any children's toy will know just how frustrating that can be so this was fab to see.
The bike is designed for children who are confident in walking so around the age of 18 months old, until they are ready for a big bike.The Toddlebike helps improve little one's confidence in their balance which will then help then in the future when it comes to learning to ride an actual bike.
Whenever Ophelia isn't riding it around, Eva is on it. Luckily it has been tested up to 100kg so older siblings are fine to test it out, just prepare yourself for the arguments. The girls always end up fighting when the other one has it but that's typical sibling rivalry at its best.
Ophelia took to the Toddlebike straight away. Some children need a bit of practice but others will be just like Ophelia. The minute she sat on it she knew what to do. She whizzes around the house thinking she's the bee's knees. The handle bars and seat aren't adjustable but they are within easy reach.
My favourite feature is definitely how light it is. The bike has come around everywhere with us. It goes on the school run (such a godsend as it gets Ophelia and me, there and back quicker). It has been to the beach with us and it has also been on our recent caravan holiday. It's small enough to pop in the car and not take up too much room. You can even pop it on your stroller or in the basket. We also regularly take it to grandparent's houses to keep Ophelia entertained.
The bike can even go through water which is great fun for kiddies that love puddles. It is water and rust proof and therefore all weather fun.
Ophelia loves everything about this bike. It's honestly one of the best things we've got for her in a long time.

Eva and Ophelia are both fans of the TV series Chuggington so they were delighted to be asked to review a brand new toy range which has recently launched. Unfortunately they arrived whilst we were on holiday so we had to eat a while to receive them and collect them.
The new collection features 24 little chuggers and ConnecTrax pack. They come in a sealable carry bag which is great for storing them in. They are suitable for ages 2 years and up but as you can imagine, Ophelia who is 19 months old, is also having fun with the set with her older sister.
What makes these toys extra special and unique is that they are actually compatible with most other pre-school systems which is perfect for us as we have many other tracks and trains. I think this is such a fab feature as we can connect them together for extended fun and games.
The trains themselves are made our of rubber, except the wheels which are plastic. This makes them feel nice and soft for small hands and means they are easy to grip unlike the other die cast ones we have at home. This also means they are lightweight which is ideal for taking out and about with us on adventures. They are great entertainment for if we are going out for a meal or away for the weekend.
Eva found the tracks easy to put together. They don't have a magnetic join, they simply slot together by links. Finally a track she can build by herself.
Overall, we think they are a great set for preschoolers. I do think Eva will outgrow them quickly but Ophelia will be able to enjoy them for quite a few years to come.
