We recently got back from a quick weekend trip to Disneyland Paris. As it was a last minute trip I decided not to do a Disneybound but I still wore Disney clothes. If you want to see outfits from a previous trip then read the following post, What I Wore in Disney.

Friday:
We travelled up on the Eurostar on the Friday and we arrived to gorgeous sunshine. We didn't arrive at our hotel until quite late in the afternoon so I decided to wear the outfit I was travelling in and pair it with some beautiful autumnal ears from Hannah Marie Magic. I had a tan coloured jumper and wet look leggings.

I also used my amazing travel themed cross body bag which I was kindly gifted by Yoshi*. It's such a perfect bag for me as I am travel obsessed. We had a travel themed wedding and our wedding cake looked just like this bag. It was a vintage suitcase with travel badges from our favourites places we've visited together.

The bag is great for Disney as it's close to your body to help keep your belongings safe from pick pockets.

Saturday:
I was a bit of a diva on the Saturday and wore 3 outfits. Technically they were all just layers underneath each other but in photos it looked like I changed 3 times. Even though it was beautifully warm and sunny most of the day, the mornings and evenings were icy cold.

My first layer was well suited for the halloween season at Disney. It was the 'What's up Witches' baseball t-shirt from Truffle Shuffle*. I'd hardly had any sleep the night before as my youngest daughter decided it would be a great time to party hard and kept me awake from about 12.30am-4am. Therefore, I was feeling quite witch like myself. I'll be wearing it on Halloween during the daytime.

My next top was one of my own from Magically Jasmine which is launching very soon. It's our 'Ultimate Villains' baseball tee which can be worn all year round and not just over the Halloween season.

I wore it with my Team Villains badge from Quackers and Co.

Last up was my 'A whole new world' off the shoulder jumper, which again, is soon to be released from Magically Jasmine. I had fab character interaction with Jafar who was not very amused with my outfit in the slightest.

To keep up the Aladdin theme I also had Princess Jasmine ears which were from Ears Ever After and the Vintage VHS clutch bag by Oh My Disney from Shop Disney UK. Jafar took pride in covering up all the other characters on the bag except himself.

I also wore my Team Agrabah badge from Quackers and Co.

Sunday:
I have literally waited all year for the 'Spirit Jersey's' to arrive at Disneyland Paris so all that was left to do was to decide whether I was going with the black or the pink. I obviously wanted both but I could only buy one on this trip. I went with black and I couldn't be happier. It's a lovely fit and matches pretty much everything. I teamed it with my Disney rose gold ears that were also purchased in Disneyland Paris.

*Items marked with an Asterix were Kindly gifted to me. All pictures and views are my own*

As annual pass holders at Disneyland Paris, we quite often don't book a package break which includes meals. We tend to just book a hotel and sort out food when we are there. We  are entitled to extra magic hours at the park which is early in the morning and therefore we like to try and have a quick breakfast to be able to take full advantage of the short ride queues etc.

The Earl of Sandwich  at Disneyland Paris is a hidden gem and is located in the Disney Village next to the lake. We have previously eaten lunch there and we were big fans of the dining experience when we were in Walt Disney World last year. We didn't even realise they served breakfast so when we were asked if we would like to come and try their offerings, we couldn't resist.

We arrived for breakfast at 9am and it was quiet which was nice. There were no long queues and there were plenty of tables.

Breakfast is served everyday until 11am and is freshly prepared and made straight after you place your order. You are given a buzzer to take to your table to alert you when your food is ready to collect. We had about a 5 minute wait for ours. All ingredients are high quality and the bread is baked in house using a secret recipe.

The restaurant itself is large, covering 2 floors. Upstairs also offers indoor and outdoor dining with one of the best views in Disney Village.

You can get a French breakfast, American breakfast or an English breakfast, all at very reasonable prices.

Important to note is that The Earl of Sandwich is the only restaurant offering an English breakfast. For 9.95 euros you can have eggs, bacon, sausage, baked beans, toast and a hot drink. It is served in a box if you wish to take it away to eat.

There are also muffins, cookies, fruit and soft drinks to choose from if you would prefer something lighter.

The kids chose to share an English breakfast and they also chose fruit and a cookie. They absolutely loved it especially our youngest. She likes to eat a bit of everything so an English breakfast is a perfect choice. There wasn't an option for a kids sized breakfast which is something I would like to see them introduce. It was too big for them to eat for themselves so a child sized portion would have been ideal.

My husband and I chose an American breakfast which came with a hot drink. This costs just 6.95 euros. We had a ham and egg sandwich and a bacon and egg sandwich. We both really enjoyed these. My 15 year old cousin also had the American breakfast and he said it was filling. My hubby particularly enjoyed his coffee. If you've been to Disneyland Paris then you may have tasted the coffee in the park and realised it is not very nice to say the least. He was delighted to finally have a good, tasting coffee.

Overall, we really enjoyed our breakfast. It was fresh, tasty and certainly filled us all up until lunchtime. The menu has something suitable for all the family. We found it fantastic value for money. If you haven't got a meal package as part of your Disneyland Paris holiday then the Earl of Sandwich is perfect. It's quick and you can either eat in or grab it to go to enjoy on your walk to the park. We will definitely be returning on our next visit.

*We were invited to the Earl of Sandwich in return for this blog post. All thoughts, opinions and words are my own*

A few weeks ago we went on a family holiday that changed my opinion of a camping/caravanning holiday forever. We were invited to stay with Eurocamp at La Croix du Vieux Pont which is in close proximity to Paris.

We've been on a few camping/caravanning holiday's in the UK and usually I can only handle a weekend as I find them quite stressful. However, 5 nights in France was completely the opposite.

Eurocamp has over 170 locations across Europe, with parks based near mountains, lakes and beaches there is something that will suit every family. We chose La Croix du Vieux Pont as it was close to Disneyland Paris. We have annual passes for Disneyland so it was the perfect base for us.

Booking with Eurocamp was easy and stress-free. The website is easy to navigate and once you have confirmed booking they take the hassle out of making sure everything is ready for you. They booked our ferry crossing, sent us emails to remind us about what we needed to do to comply with driving laws in France and much more. They also organised a welcome pack and a linen pack which was saved us vital space in the car (these are available for a small charge).

The drive and ferry crossing went smoothly. If you're ever put off driving in France, don't be. Their roads and motorways are much nicer than ours. The drive and ferry crossing went smoothly. If you're ever put off driving in France, don't be. Their roads and motorways are much nicer than ours. Although of course, that doesn’t mean you don’t still have to be careful; accidents can still happen. Remember to have insurance and the contact details of a helpful car accident lawyer with you when you go away on any holiday, just in case. It could be extremely useful.

We arrived at the campsite and were instantly impressed. The drive in was particularly pretty. We did have a slight problem when checking in as we went to the reception which we then realised was a reception for the entire campsite (there are different companies on the site not just Eurocamp). The lady wasn't helpful in telling us the correct way to go to find the Eurocamp reception and the signage wasn't very clear on where it was. However, once we found it, the Eurocamp staff couldn't have been more helpful. They told me everything I needed to know about the site and gave me a map to show me where our accommodation was. the reception area had a selection of board games, outdoor games and books which you could borrow during your stay which I thought was a nice touch.

We were staying in a 2 bedroom Avant holiday home which was alongside the lake. We were very impressed about the fact that the holiday home seemed private and quiet. There were high bushes separating each one so you didn't feel like you were looked upon. Parking was next to the holiday home which was ideal for unloading the car.

The Avant had an outside veranda which was large. It had a few chairs and a dining table and chairs. Most of it was also undercover which would mean you could still sit outside on rainy days. There was also a couple of sun loungers and a BBQ outside.

My first impression when entering was that the living space (the living room/kitchen) was quite small but actually it was more than big enough. There was a small dining table which folded out to become larger. We never ate on this table as we always ate outside. We used it for playing games and colouring etc. There was ample sofa seating around the table which was comfortable. There were 2 large storage cupboards, one with cleaning facilities inside.

The kitchen had everything we could need including a fridge freezer, microwave, hob, oven, kettle, coffee machine, toaster and all tableware and utensils. We cooked a few times in the kitchen and we also used the BBQ.

Both bedrooms were a good size. The main bedroom had access to the bathroom. It had a double bed and we were amazed at the amount of storage that was available. The girls' bedroom had 2 single beds and again had plenty of storage. We took quite a lot of stuff with us as there were 4 of us and we didn't even fill up half of the storage space. It certainly didn't feel cramped, contrary to my initial thoughts upon arrival.

The bathroom was a good size. It had a toilet, sink and a shower. There were shelves and units to store your toiletries.

The camp itself is beautiful. There are plenty of things to do such as archery, climbing, zip-wires, cycling, pedalo's, soft play, bowling and paddle boarding to name a few. There are also a few different park areas. Eurocamp run kids clubs of their own which Eva loved. She only went once but kept asking if she could go again.

There is a man-made beach area which was great. It wasn't very deep so the girls had a great time splashing around.

The swimming pool facilities were fantastic. They were undercover, heated and open so it was wonderful in there with the sun shining through. There were 4 different pools with sun-loungers, jacuzzis, splash pad and slides. We all enjoyed our time at the pool and never wanted to leave. There is a spa onsite but sadly I didn't have time to try it out.

There is an onsite shop and bakery which is very handy. We also drove to a Carrefour express which was about a 10-15 minute drive away to stock up on food and drink.

La Croix du Vieux Pont had a few different restaurants/bars to eat in. We ate in the main restaurant twice and both times we were very impressed. The staff were friendly, attentive and wonderful with the children. The food was delicious. On the first night we dined there I had a huge bowl of mussels which were so good that the thought of them is making me salivate.

The main bar had entertainment every night such as children's disco's, bingo, talent shows and more. We spent most of our evenings either at the beach or at the parks which the girls were more than happy with. Once they were asleep, we would enjoy a bottle of wine on our veranda.

We drove to Disneyland Paris twice which takes about 1 hour 20 minutes each way. There is a coach that leaves from the camp that you can book onto if you don't fancy driving.

The only negative we have to say about La Croix du Vieux Pont is the Wifi. I know the idea is to spend time together but both hubby and I did have work that we had to complete. There isn't free wifi but even after paying for it, it still wouldn't work properly. It's something to keep in mind if you needed fast, unlimited internet etc.

We truly had the most fantastic time. So much so we are looking to book and return over the summer holidays. Normally when I stay in a holiday home or a caravan, I never feel like i've had a break but I can honestly say, I felt relaxed and chilled. Watching Eva and Ophelia enjoying nature and each other's company was just perfect. We made memories that will last a lifetime.
