If you're looking for ways to revamp your garden then why not try one of the new garden trends that have been predicted to be big in 2019. Trends such as crazy paving, wild flowers, metals and bright colours have all been suggested to be making their way into a garden near you this year.

We are desperate to change our garden and we've been searching the internet for inspiration. At the moment it lacks character and it is uninviting. We may hire someone who specialises in gardening services to come up with a make over for us. We hardly spent any time  in the garden last year (even though we had a wonderful summer) because we never felt comfortable in it. Our garden is chaotic and is not the relaxing, enjoyable space that it should be.

The trends that have stood our for me that I think could work for us are the following:

Crazy Paving:
Different textured paving and stepping stones are predicted to be a big hit with people using irregular shapes and sizes as opposed to symmetrical ones. We already have patio in our garden but we're considering more at the back area so we'll be looking at various garden quotes. I'd like some stepping stones between the two areas to join them up.

Wild Flowers:
I've always been a big fan of wild/loose flowers. I think they look beautiful. I also think they create a rustic look. I'll fully admit I'm useless at gardening and maintaining any flowers/plants we own so this year I think we'll look for a gardener help us with the upkeep.

Bold Colours:
This trend excites me as I think bold colours in a garden can give it that Indian summer feel. I'll be placing yellows, oranges and reds in our garden to create warmth. This will also be reflected in the colour of flowers we choose to plant too.

Do you have any of the above trends in your garden? What would you suggest to do to a garden to give it a new look?

I'm not very adventurous when it comes to ideas of things to do in the snow. My skills are building a snowman and a snowball fight which can get tedious after a time.

I asked fellow bloggers for their ideas and this is what they suggested.

1) Footprint Tag
Chilling with Lucas suggested a game of Tag. You allocate a home base such as a tree or a stick. The first person must get to the base before being tagged. Other players must walk or run in the first persons footsteps.

2) Igloo Building
Jenny at Monkey and Mouse makes igloos with her children. I remember seeing pictures on her instagram page and it looked incredible.

3) Footprint Finder
If you don't have a lot of snow but are still looking for something fun to do then Hannah from Hi Baby Blog suggests searching for as many different footprints you can find imprinted in the snow such as birds and animals.

4) Snow Painting
Both Heather (Mrs Mactivity) and Claire (The Ladybird Adventures) suggest snow painting.

5) Make Snow Ice Cream
Sarah from Craft Invaders likes to make snow ice-cream. There is a recipe and guide over on her blog.

6) Toy Car Fun
Lianne at www.anklebitersadventures.co.uk and her children take all of their toy cars etc out in the snow to play and make tracks.

Have you got any other ideas that aren't suggested here?

We all know that oral hygiene is important, but the truth is that a lot of people still fail to appreciate just how important it might be, and this can lead to some real troubles. Even if you think you have a pretty good oral hygiene routine and you stick to it pretty well, you will be surprised to discover some of the ways in which this might be helping you out, and it goes far beyond the fact that you are keeping plaque to a minimum. In this post, we are going to take a look at three very good reasons why you should try to take even better care of your teeth, whether that means flossing more often or making that visit to the dentist you have been putting off for a while - or whether it means something a little more than that.

It Affects Your Overall Health

People often make the mistake of thinking that your teeth and gums are a standalone health issue. Actually, they affect much of the rest of the body, and if you are taking good care of your teeth and gums, you will find that your overall health is considerably improved as well. Conversely, having poor teeth and gums can mean that you are more prone to such severe diseases as heart disease, Parkinson’s and even stroke. You should therefore make a point of brushing regularly, and in particular paying attention to your gums, as it is gum disease specifically which can cause such problems in the rest of the body if you allow it to worsen over time.

It Will Improve Your Self-Image

For most people, the way their mouths look has something of a say over how they feel about themselves, even if deep down they know that it ultimately shouldn’t matter too much. But nobody wants terrible teeth which make it less tempting to even smile, and if you are keen to keep your own self-image high you will want to definitely think about keeping your oral hygiene high too. You should also consider getting any cosmetic work you might need done with a dentist you can trust like DFY Dental, so that you can expect your smile to appear as you would like and expect it to. That way, your self-image will likely continue on in a strong and healthy manner.

You Will Set A Good Example

If you have children, then this last one is for you. Having good teeth is bound to affect what your kids think of you, and you will find that if you make a point of really taking good care of your own oral hygiene, then you will be setting a good example for your children who will be more likely to follow suit in the future. That will mean that they will grow up with better, stronger teeth, and will themselves receive all of the benefits that come from having a healthy set of teeth and gums. For many parents, this is the best reason of all to continue on strongly with their own oral health.

The whole idea of changing your life can seem really big. Or really out of reach. And sometimes, it can seem negative. Because the idea of change can often be associated with the idea of something being wrong and broken. So, a lot of the time, it’s easy to think you don’t need to change your life, because nothing’s wrong with it. Yet, that’s not necessarily the case. More often than not, a life change is a positive thing. It’s something you do when you want to be able to find happiness. To live a better life. To love your life. To embrace your health. And there are a range of factors that can go into it. However, there’s one factor that matters the most and that can really turn things around for you - positivity.

What’s So Special About Positivity

Now, the reason for why positivity is the key here, is that it empowers your mind. That it points you in the right direction. That it opens up your mind to put you in the best positive to start living your life and creating the life you want.

How To Harness It

It sounds great, doesn’t it? But now, the next question might be - how can you actually be more positive? What does it take? Well, it can be as hard or as easy as you like it. BUT, you need to want it, practice it, and work for it. Because it’s all in your mindset and your attitude and your thoughts - as well as your habits. So you are going to want to step back, look for the good in life, and choose to be happier.

The Beauty Of It

And the beauty of positivity is that it’s free. And it can be yours without you having to change your life first. This is important. Because one mindset flick, one change in your thought pattern, one attitude adoption can really change the direction of the life and your happiness overall.

How It Helps You

Now, you may wonder WHY this works. And it’s all in your mindset. When you’re positive, you’re in the best possible position to enjoy your life. To make the right choices and head in the right direction. Whether this means to change your diet, to pursue that personal injury lawyer or to finally walk about from an abusive relationship. It empowers you to put your own happiness first and focus on that. When you’re positive, you know that you can do anything.

What It Can Mean For Your Life

And most importantly of all, the thing about positivity is that is really change make waves for your future and for what you want to get out of your future. The more positive you are, the better your mindset can become. The more you’ll say yes. Try new things. Find opportunities. Live. Laugh. Enjoy your life! Yes, positivity can do all of that. So, this is why you’re going to want to embrace positivity to change your life.
