A Festive Themed Holiday with Jet2

Christmas is my favourite time of the year. For me it beats Easter, Valentine's Day and even my birthday. Since having children Christmas has become even more magical and special. Eva is now nearly 5 so she now understands Christmas and she gets so excited. We are itching to get our Christmas decorations up and really embrace the Christmas spirit.

The lovely people at Jet2 kindly sent us a hamper of Christmas goodies to help us get in the mood. It was full to the brim of festive essentials for all 4 of us to enjoy.

There were chocolates, biscuits, hot chocolate, mulled wine, advent calendars, crackers, craft items, a gingerbread house and much more.

Hubby and I have a tradition that we drink mulled wine and listen to Michael Buble's Christmas album whilst wrapping presents so we can't wait to make use of our mulled wine kit. Eva is desperate to make her gingerbread house which we'll be doing this weekend.

This year will be a very different Christmas for us because we are actually flying to Australia in a couple of weeks to spend Christmas Day with my family. My mum, stepdad and sister's emigrated there over 9 years ago but this will be the first time that we will have had an Aussie Christmas.

As much as I love the winter and the idea of snow, I honestly can't wait for a holiday within a holiday and to soak up the sun.

If that sounds up your street then why not enter the advent giveaway that Jet2 are holding every day between the 1st-26th December. You could be in with a chance of winning an amazing Jet2 holiday. All you have to do is head over to, and correctly answer a holiday-themed question, and you'll be entered into the free prize draw. You can pre register from November 28th for an extra chance each day.

I'm currently sat here writing this and looking out of the window to lots of ice. A holiday sounds incredibly appealing right now so i'll definetly be entering. Good luck.

*Jet2 kindly gifted us the hamper in exchange for this post*
