Disney Boredom Busters for Kids for Long Haul Flights

It's now just over 7 weeks until we fly to Disneyworld in Florida which is a 9.5 hour flight. The girls will be 4 and 17 months old so a bit of a handful. We've flown to Australia a couple of times before with the girls so we are used to flying long haul. We know that in order to survive the flight you need plenty of boredom busters.

Long haul holidays are never cheap so i've been looking for reasonably priced things that I can buy for Eva and Ophelia to keep them occupied. The Works has plenty of great things that don't cost the earth. The website has lots of books, crafts, stationary etc to choose from. They've also got lots of Disney items on their website which is perfect for our holiday.

Colouring books, stickers, arts and crafts are all good things to take on the plane. We always give the girls new things to keep them excited and interested. Here's what i've chosen for our upcoming flight.

Crafts:

These colour your own tote bags are fab and we'll also be able to use them once we are in Disneyworld. The girls will be able to colour them in on the plane and then we can pack them away safely for them to use when we arrive. They cost £6 each.

Storybooks:

Eva's latest favourite Disney film is Moana. She adores it. We actually collect this style of Disney story book and we are yet to buy the Moana one. This will be great to add to our collection. It'll be lovely to read it to the girls on the plane and we can also use it for stories before bed once we have got to Disneyworld. It costs £8.99, Moana Book.

This princess treasury book is a bargain at £3. It also comes with a little Ariel figurine which will be great for playing with whilst reading the stories.

Activity Books:

Sticker books are always great boredom busters. This one comes with over 400 stickers with characters they love. That's plenty for the girls to mess about with. It's only £2 so it's an absolute bargain, Disney Junior Sticker Treasury.

Look and find books are a great way of entertaining kiddies. We already have a few and Eva spends ages searching through them. This one comes with 4 different books and costs £5, Look and Find Books.

This squiggles and giggles book looks great. It has stickers, colouring and activities and costs £4, Squiggle and Giggles.

The last pick is this Disney Princess colouring pad costing £3. it contains 30 pages but hopefully there'll be some left so that we can also use if for taking to restaurants whilst we're on holiday, Princess Colouring Pad.

Is there anything else from The Works that you would add to the list?

  1. Kids love all these characters and no better way to keep them entertained. I find it refreshing that the works are so reasonable in their prices. They seem to be cheaper than other stores. Good for them in not fleecing us. Thanks fir the info
