#rockthebump September

Welcome back to a new month of #rockthebump with myself, Chelle and Jaime.

Last month was quite a quiet month which I'm blaming the summer holidays for. There seem to be lots of us bloggers currently pregnant so I'm looking forward to seeing posts on how we are going to style up in autumn.

I don't know about you but I feel personally robbed of a summer. I had dreamt of spending most of my pregnancy in maxi dresses but I can't say the weather has let me live that dream. This is why I am now excited for autumn/winter.

With the turning of the seasons comes a new wadrobe. I'm thinking of dressing my bump in legging with lots of jumpers and dresses with pretty scarves. I only have 10 weeks left so I'm trying not to buy too much. I popped into primark yesterday and bought a great transitional piece which can be worn now and right through winter. It was a thin, sleeveless roll neck jumper. It's gorgeous. It's loose fitting so looks very flattering over my bump. In fact I even managed to buy it in a size 8. Not bad for a 3rd trimester of pregnancy.  When the weather gets even colder I will layer it with long sleeve tops underneath. I have't taken any pics of it yet but I will add one here when I do.

Please share any of your maternity, pregnancy and breast feeding outfits on the linky below and tweet us all and use #rockthebump so we can share your posts too.

  1. I found leggings and thin sweaters perfect for maternity wear. I lived in them! As well as non-maternity jersey dresses that would stretch comfortably over my bump. p.s. I feel robbed of a summer too!
